Members have three ways to cast their ballot in this year’s contested director election:

1) Mark and mail your ballot in the official voting envelope included in the May 2026 issue of Carolina Country magazine. Ballots received by May 12 will be considered valid. You may vote for one candidate. Ballots will be received and counted by an independent auditor. Your return envelope will be used for prize registration.

2) Place your ballot in an official voting lockbox at any Tideland EMC office through the end of normal business hours on May 11. Ballot boxes will be delivered to the independent auditor on May 12.

3) Cast your ballot at the co-op’s annual meeting on Thursday, May 14 at Beaufort County Community College in Washington. Member registration begins at 6:30 pm.
